Senior Brand Designer

About the Role

We're looking for a Senior Brand Designer to join our growing studio. You'll lead brand identity projects from initial discovery through final delivery, working closely with our Creative Director and collaborating with the wider team.

This is a hands-on role for someone who loves crafting visual systems — from logos and color palettes to typography and brand guidelines. You'll work directly with clients, present concepts, and mentor junior team members.

What You'll Do

• Lead brand identity projects from strategy through execution
• Design logos, visual identity systems, and comprehensive brand guidelines
• Create presentations and pitch decks that articulate design rationale
• Collaborate with digital designers to ensure brand consistency across platforms
• Participate in client workshops and discovery sessions
• Contribute to studio culture, critiques, and internal projects

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in brand design, ideally at agencies or studios
• A strong portfolio demonstrating range in brand identity work
• Expert-level proficiency in Figma, Illustrator, and InDesign
• Excellent typographic sensibility and understanding of visual hierarchy
• Strong communication skills — you can articulate your design decisions clearly
• Experience working directly with clients and managing feedback
• A collaborative spirit and genuine curiosity about design and culture

Nice to Have

• Experience with motion design or animation
• Knowledge of front-end development
• Interest in packaging or environmental design
• Experience mentoring junior designers

1. Portfolio review — We'll review your application and portfolio
2. Intro call — 30-minute conversation to get to know each other
3. Design exercise — A short take-home exercise (paid, max 4 hours)
4. Studio visit — Meet the team in person and present your exercise
5. Offer — If it's a mutual fit, we'll extend an offer
